Tribal Engagement Intern, Vineyard Wind
New Bedford, New Bedford, MA, US The Tribal Engagement Intern position support the Tribal Relations Team with related tribal outreach activities. This internship lasts 12 weeks and has a flexible start date. It is located in our New Bedford, MA office. Intern will assist Tribal Relations Lead with engagement outreach, tracking and follow-up, attend events and meetings with Tribal nations in the Northeast, assist Tribal Relations Lead with internal communications and regulatory reporting, and be encouraged to be creative and develop initiatives to support Vineyard Offshore’s collaborative work with Tribal Nations. Open to a college senior or recent graduate proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel), with a keen attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, effective time management skills. Grant Writing Intern (Remote), Let’s Empower, Advocate, and Do, Inc. (LEAD) empowers individuals with no-fluff, mental wellness & DEI-JBA (diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, belonging, and access) training, certification, and consulting. The Public’s Radio Internship : Students can participate in semester-long internships for 3 course credits at The Public’s Radio 89.3FM in RI & MA. The station reserves two internship spots for us each semester. Interns will work two, four-hour shifts per week in the newsroom writing and producing stories for the daily newscasts. Duties include: researching, interviewing both in the newsroom and out in the field, editing audio, and writing news copy. Interns will also post their stories on the RIPR website and assist with other duties in the newsroom. This is a great opportunity to learn the core skills of broadcast journalism while working alongside experienced journalists.
